This is not medical advice
See My Scan is an educational tool. It reads the words of a radiology report and draws an illustration of what those words describe. It is not a diagnosis, not a second opinion, and not a substitute for a visit or conversation with your doctor. Do not make or delay any medical decision based on it. If you have urgent symptoms, call your doctor or emergency services.
This is not a scientific reproduction of your scan
The 3D body is a standard, simplified anatomical model, not your body and not your actual CT, MRI or PET images. Positions and sizes are estimated from the report text and are approximate. Organ shapes, colors and proportions are illustrative. The explanations are generated by an AI model and can contain mistakes; every finding shows whether its wording was matched to your report, and anything marked for checking should be confirmed with your doctor. The software has not been reviewed or cleared by the FDA or any regulator.
HIPAA
HIPAA is a US law that governs how doctors, hospitals, health plans and their business associates handle your health information. See My Scan is a consumer tool that you choose to use with your own information. It is not offered by your doctor, hospital or health plan, it is not a HIPAA covered entity, and it does not act as anyone’s business associate. That means HIPAA’s protections do not apply to information you choose to enter here, even though we follow the safeguards below.
- Personal details are removed in your browser first. Before a pasted report is sent, the app strips names, medical record and accession numbers, birth dates, phone numbers, email and street addresses, Social Security numbers and ages over 89, following the HIPAA Safe Harbor list of identifiers. You can see what was removed before you send. This catches most identifiers but cannot guarantee all of them, so please check.
- Uploaded files are sent as they are. PDFs and photos cannot be cleaned in the browser. For the most privacy, paste the text instead, or crop your name out of the photo.
- We do not store your report. The text is sent over an encrypted connection to Anthropic’s Claude API to be read, and the result is returned to your browser. This app keeps no database of reports or results. Anthropic’s handling of API data is described in its commercial terms and privacy policy.
- Results stay on your device. Downloads (CSV, JSON, FHIR) and printouts are created in your browser.
For clinics and health systems: using See My Scan with patient information on behalf of a covered entity requires a Business Associate Agreement and a HIPAA-eligible configuration. Contact us before any clinical deployment.
We count visits anonymously with Vercel Web Analytics: page views, country, device and which site sent you. It uses no cookies, collects no names or contact details, and never sees your report.

Payments
The demo and the sample reports are free, and so is your first own report. After that you can pay once for a single report or subscribe for unlimited reports, and cancel the subscription at any time from the billing portal. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. A single payment covers one successful report: if a report cannot be read, the payment is not used and you can retry with it. Your free report and any subscription are remembered on the browser you used, without an account.
Your choices
Only enter what you are comfortable sharing. You can remove the report text at any time by closing the page. By using See My Scan you agree that it is provided as is, for education only, without warranties, and that you will review your results with a qualified clinician.
